NEW YEAR

Much to my surprise, what was in the package was two tickets to Tropical Islands! A huge indoor tropical paradise right smack dab in the middle of wintery Berlin!


It is my new favorite place! I mean, what more could a Caribbean girl from Miami ask for? Tropical Islands (which I promptly nicknamed Ja-FAKE-ca) is always, always warm. 75 degrees all year round. Can I get a HALLELUJAH!?

NEW(ER) YULE

Moving right along! Christmas came twice this year, thanks to our good friends at DHL who delivered our Christmas package from Tallahassee on approximately January 20th. BUT like I always say, better late than busted into a million pieces.

So, my friends, on 137th day of Christmas my fam'ly sent to meeeee... all kinds of great stuff!

NEW SHOW

We wrote our first concert together: Head Over Heels: A Concert of Love! Head Over Heels is a love concert in two acts written, directed and performed by Christopher Ryan and Sidonie Smith:). We performed some of the most famous love-bird tunes ranging from jazz to pop to classic Broadway all linked together by original monologues. We wrote and performed it in German, but are, of course, always open to doing translated versions of the show. To date, we have performed it from Hamburg all the way to Edinburgh, Scotland. So much fun!
