Happy New Year everybody! I am so excited about what is to come. I believe that God has great, wondrous, miraculous and NEW things in store and I am looking forward to being a part of it :). But before I jump right into blogging about 2011 I'd like to present a little recap of my last trip around the sun...

JANUARY
In January I was, of course, still in Essen rockin' out every night at "Buddy Holly."
Julie May came to visit...
Hubby was still away on tour, but thankfully we were able to see each other every now and then
Here we are on Valentine's Day at our favorite restaurant "Karawane" (Ka ra VAHN ah)I got to see him AGAIN in Cologne! ("Köln" in German)

Here is the Cologne Cathedral by day...

...and again by night
------------------------MARCH
In March, Katie and Rachael came to visit and see the show as part of their big backpacking adventure.
I went to the dentist A LOT in March. I stopped counting after my 13th visit :(.Good riddance, wisdom tooth!!!
On the flip side I did get to have quite a bit of fun with Novacaine.
Trust me, everything is funnier when you can't move the right side of your face
The kissy face
Elvis? Or the Stink-eye? I'm not sure. Either way I definitely can't do this without anesthesia.

APRIL

APRIL
I got to go see the birthday boy perform in April! He was fantastic!

Did quite a few promos for Buddy as well

Here we are at a live TV promotion in Mainz, Germany. Once the cameras weren't rolling anymore we dove back into our sweaters. April was NOT warm!
MAY
In May, I got word that my beloved Nana Gwen went to be with Jesus. She was just shy of her 98th birthday. It was a difficult time especially because I was unable to travel home. Though it hurts, I have hope because I know she is rejoicing.

"Trust in the LORD with all thine heart and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge Him and He shall direct thy path. " Proverbs 3:5-6

Because my "Buddy" time was winding down, I asked a friend to snap some pics for me from the wings

What a month! I got my husband back, turned a year older and a had scores of visitors :)
MY MOMMY CAME TO VISIT! First trip of many ;)!!!

My cousins Lyn and Monique flew in from LA on my birthday! I felt sooooo loved!

After our slew of guests, we traveled to Hamburg where I had the privilege of participating as a speaker at the International Performing Arts Institute's (IPAI) Musical Theatre Intensive.
On July 31st, we played our last (220th) performance in the Colosseum Theater. I had a simply wonderful year.

Goodbye Buddy.
AUGUST
We went home! First on the agenda: Seeing my brother Ashton graduate college. So proud.
Go Noles!

We continued to visit friends and family in Florida. One BIG highlight was meeting our beautiful niece Harper for the first time. We took about a million photos of Harper during our trip

The trip was mainly to attend some important auditions, but we were also able to visit friends and see the sites. We spent Christmas Day with our friends Danny and Terry. Here they are with their "American Stockings" filled with lots of candy and snack made in the USA :)

Later we watched the timeless American classic "Der Grinch" :D

On New Year's Eve we were invited to sing a duet at our church's Silvester (New Yrs Eve) Celebration. It was the perfect way to close the year

That's about it. I am just so thankful. Thankful that we are together in the same city full time. Thankful for my family. For my wonderful friends. For the opportunity to live my dream and do what I love professionally. Thankful for the blessing it is to give. Thankful that I get to share my adventure with all of you. Thank you God.
Have a blessed 2011.
